 Usage of the Start Menu Tweak

 Beginning of the work

After start of the program it is appear on the System Tray (it's where the clock is).

At the first start of the program of the default scheme will have been saved. Sorry. But it'll take some time.

For calling context menu click right button of the mouse on icon.

In this menu you are accessible for:

Functions of the changing of the scheme. They'll let you change both menu "Start" and menu "Favorites".

Regime of the starting of the program (Auto run). It may be turn on or turn off in this menu.

The main window of the program is opened by point "Open Start Menu Tweak". You can edit groups, make sort, save schemes and check correctness of the shortcuts in it.

 Groups

 Groups are folders, elements in which shortcuts and other folders are grouped by any signs. For example: this group "Games" in which games are found or group "Utilities" that keeps utilities for work with a system.

Groups can go into menu "Programs" or menu "Favorites".

 You can create (if you haven't enough standard groups) and remove groups.

In order to remove or create group choose menu "Edit". Push "New group" to create group. Then introduce the name of the group, choose icon and type of the group if new group will be standard (it necessary for automatic sort).

The groups which are introduced into Start menu may automatically sort and change icons.

To change icon choose Edit/Group's icon.

 Sort

Sort is a place of shortcuts and folders in menu "Programs" and in menu "Favorites" by groups. It is let place all games in group "Games" and programs for work with graphic arts place in group "Graphic". It makes work with menu effective and turns the menu into compact and comfortable.

Sort can be manual an automatic (Only for menu "Programs").

Manual sort makes by moving shortcuts and folders in choosing group.

 You may move elements not only in fluctuation group but also move back from group. You may remove shortcuts and folders.

Please, turn your attention. After name of the group in brackets there is count of elements in the group.

Automatic sort is a sort of inside database which connect several hundreds of the most spread programs.

Choose Service/Automatically sort start menu to start automatic process of the sort.

Automatic sort needs some time. It shows in percents and you may stop sort by pushing the button "Cancel".

 Manual sort is comfortable use after automatic sort. It will economize your time.

After ending of the sort don't forget to save the scheme.

 Schemes

Scheme is a saving sort. There are may be schemes for the Start menu and for the menu "Favorites". Possibilities of quick changing of the fluctuation menu are given by schemes.

For saving of the scheme push in the menu File/Save scheme. Then you have to introduce the name of the scheme. Please, remember, that the name of the scheme is the name of the file on the disk. That's why it can't be contained symbols which in admissible for files of the Windows:, ?, ", : , / , \ , | , *

The scheme can be used after it will be saved.

According to the choosing scheme, choose File/Name of the scheme to improve Start menu or "Favorites" menu.

 In order to quick change of the scheme which is founded on System Tray (near clock) you have to click right button of the mouse on icon of the program.

Please don't forget that primary menu is also kept in default scheme.

 View

In fluctuation active window in menu "View" you may change regime of the reflection of the icons.

Also it can be done through the context menu.

If you remove shortcuts or file which still needs push View / Refresh. All shortcuts and folders will be appeared which contained in current menu.

 Check correct of the shortcuts.

In order to remove shortcuts of the unexistent files use check correct of the shortcuts. It will let you to lighten menu "Start".

In order to start the processes of check choose Service/Check shortcuts. Bit shortcuts and wrong folders of the groups remove from the lists of the reflection after check.
